The Old Hollywood Walking Tour was amazing! It is led by April who is very knowledgeable about the history of classic Hollywood and is a great tour guide. This tour is so much better than most Hollywood tours. I learned a lot about many of the buildings on Hollywood Boulevard. There is so much history packed into a small area- the tour is within just a few blocks, but there is so much to see. April provides audio headsets so there is no problem with hearing her even though there is street noise. She also shows pictures so you can see what the buildings looked like when they were built. There is a bathroom/snack break in the middle which is nice and you get to go into April's office which is in a beautiful building which feels like it is out of film noir. Whether you are a local who already knows a lot of Hollywood history, or a visitor who wants to get an overview of the topic, this is a great tour!
